LOL, brilliant! Just been watching the tv series on dvd, am hoping the film keeps the same quirky sense of humour,and doesn't dumb-down somehow.

woo is great no? i so have a thing for zaphod, but that started with the radio series... here's hoping sam rockwel plays it good. not too sure about deschanel tho - an american playing an islingtoner?!

That guy in the film is NOT how I see Ford Prefect at all, am well disappointed, but ya never know, he might be good, time will tell. Not been to the website, arrrctually! Out at the end of this month!

oh no, ford is supposed to fit in in guildford in surrey... and hes american. u never know tho. and in one trailer arthur kisses trillian, but im hoping thats like a daydream sequence from the party.
u shud see the website - has 3 trailers now methink. if u want see that is - iv managed to not see any charlie and choc ones yet - except johnny saying 'ew'

I don't remember it saying Ford was American..... Hm, Hollywood feels they gotta add a love interest.
Only seen one trailer, is out the end of this month, so shall wait now :) Seen a Charile one, at the cineme as well - a lot of "hmmm"s from the audience. There's this really irritating song in it singing "Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka!" but Asti and I sing "Willy Wanker" ;)

no i mean mos def is american... tho sayin that, fords from same place as zaphod [they have 2 mothers the same or sumut] and zaphods american, but thats always like cuz hes like so cool man. such a hoopy frood.
yeah iv heard the song, is difficult to try and block out everything in cinema. but only briefly, and dunt want to see how anything else is done cuz itl ruin it. well, its such a good original film anyway... and its that boy from finding neverland and 5 kids and it aint it as charlie? hmm....

heh, i remember gettin read charlie at primary school and the teacher said mr willy wanker. dear dear dear.
